Dear fellow students,
the cultural department of the student's council proceeds with our tradition of theatre trips. We will visit the Theatre Coburg with the performance of Beethoven's only opera Fidelio. A trailer to this production you can find here: http://www.landestheater-coburg.de/57-0-Musiktheater.html?e_id=296

A bus will leave at 17:45 at the Mensa Ehrenberg and will, of course, bring us back as well (return around 23:30).

As students in our group we get the best tickets for 10,50€ and the bus will cost you 4€. (People who are not students, please write the cultural department, the bus for you is 8€)

information evening on exams

The department for social affairs of the Students' council invites you to take part in an information evening about exam law.
It takes place
    on Tuesday, the 20th of January 2015
    at 8:30 p.m.
    in the interclub (basement of dormitory L, Max-Planck-Ring 6c)

During the event we can give you hints and answer your questions.

Trip to CeBIT 2014

Dear lovely students,

We are curently organising a trip to CeBIT 2014 in Hannover.

CeBIT is the world's largest and most international computer expo. The trade fair is held each year on the Hannover fairground, the world's largest fairground and is considered a barometer of the state of the art in information technology.

We are offering you a bus transfer including the expo ticket, for 10EUR.

The daytrip on March 11 starts at 5.10am at Mensa-Busstation.

If you like to participate, you have to buy a ticket at Mensa. We will sell them from 11-13am, on Friday, Monday and Tuesday.
Or you buy them at StuRa office in basment house A.

P.S. If you take part, please bring enough to eat and drink for the trip and do not forget to validate your ticket:

At winter term 2013/2014 the TU Ilmenau will allocate up to 101 'Deutschlandstipendien' subjected to sufficient funds.

asylum policy

Bleiberecht? Frontex? Duldung? Words many have already heard before. But what's the connection between these terms and asylum policy? How many applications for asylum are petitioned every year? And how many get approved in the end?

The new founded AG Asylpolitik of the StuRa answers those questions. Besides the presentation of the topic Miloud Lahmar Cherif an applicant for asylum and student of TU Ilmenau will present his case.

After there'll be time for questions and discussion about asylum policy.
