The Finance Department


The Finance Department is responsible for managing the student funds paid to the StuRa (part of the semester fee). Especially important is the support of campus-internal projects.

The department consists of a budget officer, his deputy, and the treasurers.

Other responsibilities of the unit include:

  •     Preparing the budget, closing the budget and justifying it to the internal auditors
  •     Advising and informing about funding opportunities for student projects

Internal Projects

We manage internal projects (of student councils and units) via the financial tool.

When funding any projects, we generally follow the internal funding guidelines, which can be viewed here.

External Projects

External projects are all applications submitted by associations or other organizations that are not a body of the student body.

To support its students, the StuRa can grant loans of up to 1,800 €. You can find more information here.
